Sterling silver cast ring

My second attempt at wax casting.
I originally made this ring out of wax which was then cast in sterling silver. It did have a lot more texture to it to begin with, but unfortunately it was connected to the wax tree on the top rather than at the bottom, so when I filed off the stump, I lost a lot of texture.
I refiled the whole of the ring and added fine groove marks all over it. I wasn't sure whether it would blacken very well becuase the grooves were so fine, but it did.
The general comments I get about this ring, are that it looks very cat like, or that I could have someones eye out with it.
Neither of the above were the intention, I wanted a simple organic shape with lots of texture. It looks less cat like when its on and is very comfortable. whether it could have someones eye out I hope not, but I haven't tried so you never know!
